Kayisha is a 22 year old female born in West Oak Lane of Philadelphia, PA. She was 8 years old when her mother took her from the only place she called home and moved her and two other siblings to Phoenix, AZ. For 14 years her family moved back in forth between Philadelphia, PA and Phoenix, AZ. During that time it Kayisha found that it was hard to make friends so she spent most of her time with her brother and sister. When she wasn't spending time with her brother and sister then she was listening to music and that is how she fell in love with music. Music has been her passion since she was a young child and it was her creativity that drew her to use it as an outlet. Kayisha and her sister “Kiearra” began singing together. They formed a female singing group a couple of times and have performed at numerous school talent shows and events but the group members were never all on the same page. As Kayisha got into her early teenage years, the sisters decided that they didn't need any other members and they would work together as a R&B/Pop duo instead. The sisters started to get into the studio heavy and started laying down tracks. As their teenage years progressed and boys became their attention, their love for music was put aside. In 2013, Kayisha felt that it was time to get focused and return to music because her passion for music began to grow stronger and stronger until she felt like she reached the point of taking action. Unfortunately, her sister's passion for music faded away so she knew that she had to go solo. Even though it hurt Kayisha that her sister wouldn't rejoin her for the journey, it made her realize that music has been her dream, inspiration, passion and motivation since she was a little girl. Kayisha thus began her solo career. In 2014, Kayisha began rapping when her car was in the shop for about a week and she had to take public transportation to and from work. At her bus stop there was an attractive guy that she had always seen and she noticed that he was always in his phone typing lyrics which sparked a curiosity. This is when Kayisha realized how she could catch his attention. At that moment she was listening to Meek Mills' "Know No Better" and she just started to write! She rapped the lyrics she had wrote to her sister, her family, and friends and everyone love what she created! Kayisha then recorded her new talent and decided that at that very moment that she would start making actions to take over the Female Rap Industry. She realized that Hip Hop today needs more successful female rappers since it is a male driven genre and she would like to be part of the movement to change that.

Kayisha began networking and came into contact with the owner of Zobe who signed her to an Exclusive deal with independent label Zobe Records. Kayisha immediately began enhancing her artist development with Zobe and has been increasing her exposure, promotions, marketing, booking, fan base, and her image. Currently Kayisha is working towards becoming successful music artist, performer, and writer in the industry while continuing to learn as much as she can about her craft. Kayisha is currently promoting a single while working on a few others and she is working on a mixtape, an EP, and an LP album that will be released under Zobe Records along with a few music videos so look out for this outstanding artist who will be featured in Zobe Magazine and on Zobe TV Network as well. As a new addition to the roster of Zobe Records Kayisha is generating a nice buzz within the industry as she has a lot of eyes on her, and she is ready to take her music career to the new heights!
